Movie premiere in Rapperswil “Rising from Ashes”

Exclusive film premiere of the fantastic film ” Rising from Ashes “. Must see movie! After the movie we had a amazing dinner together at the Castle in Rapperswil. The city Rapperswil is a fairytale city with only old houses and a castle at the top of the hill. Beautifully situated at the Zürich lake. The money we paid for the movie and dinner went directly to the Adrien Niyounshouti’s Cycling Center in Rwanda which the film was about. The fantastic bike-legend Jock Boyer (in green shirt), who started this Cykling center was also at the premiere. “Rising from Ashes” is a feature length documentary about two worlds colliding when cycling legend Jock Boyer moves to Rwanda, Africa to help a group of struggling genocide survivors pursue their dream of a national team. As they set out against impossible odds both Jock and the team find new purpose as they rise from the ashes of their past.
The Swiss mountain bike champion Thomas Frischknecht to the left was also one of the persons behind this cycling centre in Rwanda.
